Locally Global

Yooyak has recently joined efforts with the Ayala Foundation USA to assist public high schools in the Philippines. The name of the project is GILAS. Ayala Foundation USA, GILAS is an exciting project spearheaded by the Ayala Foundation, with the cooperation of major companies including IBM, Intel, Microsoft and leading Philippine corporations such as Globe Telecom, PLDT and others. Our aim is simple: to help connect all Philippine public high schools to the Internet within 5 years.

To help raise funds for this project, Yooyak has strategically partnered with Xoom. Xoom is an online-to-offline international money transfer service offering a secure, fast, and inexpensive means of sending money from their website. For every new customer who uses Xoom, Yooyak will donate to the GILAS project.
